Special thanks to groups mentioned below for their support as we put this tentative competition schedule together. Those of you who have organised previous events will know there are a number of imponderables that can upset the best of intentions. For example, the divers in Hawkes Bay are hoping 2010 will give a long spell of settled weather like they had in the summer and autumn of this year. If it eventuates then they will for the first time run a Bluewater event in their area. But we all recognise that poor weather will of necessity cause changes. At least you can see what alternative days might be available. Bear in mind that some of those days will include competitions run by local dive shops. Spearfishing NZ is in discussion with various shops about those events, and we will publish here such dates and details as they become known to us along with contact details for all competitions mentioned below.
