WEIGH IN - 3pm to 3.45pm with prize giving to follow
FISH AUCTION - will immediately follow the prize giving

RULES
All weighed fish are donated to the auction.
Open to boat and shore. Open to all areas but competitors must attend the briefing and be back in time for the 3.45pm cut off.
All divers are required to dive with a buddy and a minimum of one float and line per buddy team. Open to freediving only, no scuba.
Those spearing from boats must either have a designated boat driver or a team of three, so the boat is not left unattended.
All fish must be of legal size according to fisheries amateur fishing regulations 1986. Any competitors detected breaching NZ fishing laws will be disqualified. All entrants must sign a liability release.
Please gut fish and keep in good condition suitable for sale, preferably on ice.
Each diver may weigh a maximum of six fin fish and no more than two of any one species. Each diver may also weigh two paua and two crayfish giving a total of ten possible weighed fish.
100 points per fish and 100 points per species, Includes paua and crayfish
10 points per kilo of weight up to a maximum of 8 kilos per one fish
Points are awarded on total weight of all fish weighed per diver to the closest kg
