Prizegiving: Saturday evening 5th March.

Teams can depart Sunday 6th March.

Accommodation venue: Haruru Falls Resort next to the Haruru Falls has pencilled in units allowing us to accommodate all teams at the one site. Final confirmation of how many people will need accommodation will be asked for in January 2016

Accommodation costs: Favourable rates have been negotiated.

Getting there: We anticipate that overseas teams will fly to Auckland and then hire a vehicle to take them north. The Bay of Islands is a comfortable 4 hour drive from Auckland airport.

Boats: Boats will be available for use during the week prior to the competition and on the days of competition. Teams will be responsible for all their own fuel costs.

Weigh-in each day: This will take place near the centre of the town. Fish will be auctioned to the public at the end of each day of competition.

Pre Competition before Inter-Pacific Event: Saturday 27th February. The local “Port Valley” spearfishing club has arranged to run the annual ‘Far North Spearfishing Competition’ on that day. Overseas competitors are welcome to participate. Those people diving in NZ for the first time will find it a good opportunity to familiarise themselves with NZ fish.
